In honor of their reaching 2000 members, I thought I might expose the sub a little bit.
So what's the sub really about?
According to the sidebar...
A place for tall people looking to meet other tall people.
All are welcome. Even short people.
So they're an all-inclusive community, which is fine, but most of the activity is geared toward:
Tall people wanting to meet other tall people.
Short people wanting to meet tall people.
Tall people wanting to meet short people (but to a lesser degree).
But what IS tall?
Well, that's pretty subjective. According to this here wikipedia article (I'm looking at the US data, by the way.), the average woman is 5'4" and the average man is 5'10". I don't know what the standard deviation is (Maybe it's somewhere in the article. I didn't care to read the whole thing.), so for the sake of simplicity, I'm going to say add 2 inches to make a tall man or woman. I'm sure there are more accurate ways of determining what is tall, but it doesn't really matter all that much.
Yeah, but what about us short people looking for other short people, or us tall people looking for short people?
Head on over to /r/shorty4shorty.
But there's no activity!
I guess you'll just to make some posts then.
