I've been through so much over the past few years. I'm recently divorced, and I'm starting to wonder if the relationship I want even exists. I am always the one who pursues, and just once I'd like to meet someone who can match that energy.
Simply put, I want to choose someone and they choose me. I want someone who views every day with me as a new adventure. The excitement never wears off for me. I have no reserve and every moment we spend together is the best part of my day. I crave physical affection. I am eternally generous and patient in a relationship. I can't think of a single love language that I don't value.
I am a music teacher and I have been for a long time. I love what I do, especially when I am able to reach someone who was struggling and didn't think they could do it.
I also like to cook, play video games sometimes, go to the gym or park, and binge shows on Roku. I have a lot of cats and I adore them.
I have two kids and they're everything to me. One goes to school where I teach and is in the band program. I see both kids as often as I can.
In terms of what I'm looking for right now, if we get along and there's good chemistry, I want to meet in person and see if we are a good fit. I have been poly for awhile, but I am wondering if it's still what I want. What I need most is just having a partner who cares about my needs as much as I care about hers.
We need to be physically attracted to each other, so we'll need to get that out of the way sooner than later. I don't want to waste or disrespect anyone's time if our attraction isn't mutual. I can provide pictures upon request.
I am going to San Antonio for several days for convention in February, and it would be amazing to share that time with someone if they also wanted to travel. I've been really craving companionship lately.
