So, I’m not entirely sure how to go about making friends as an adult, but I figured the buddy cop invite couldn’t hurt. So, saddle up, Rook’. It’s time to meet your new partner.

Hi.. I’m Jarod. I’m not really a cop. Faaaaaaar from it. I’m actually an artist (Graphic Designer with a love of watercolors), a nerd ( the…MtG, DnD, TMNT, Terry Pratchett of nerd ?) , a little bit country (more than just Beards and Boots. I was raised on a ranch), a smidge fancy (I love to cook, and am a bit of a foodie), and a whole lot more. I lean to the left, Both politically and because I walk wit’ a limp. (Its mostly only noticeable when I’m tired now.)

I’m on a whole-ass-journey of self-improvement/discovery/love. I’m also a recovering alcoholic. (2 years in recovery. It feels weird to celebrate a full year without f***king up my life, but it was a hard change to make. So… Hey, I did that.). So,.. a part of all of that is surrounding myself with a solid support structure, and actually putting myself out there to meet  the right people, and the right kind of people.

Some of those people, I have already met. I’m poly, and demi. I already have 2 amazing partners. I live with one partner and a meta. I see the other partner a few nights a week. We all practice kitchen table poly. My partners have partners and they have partners, and sometimes the partners overlap, and its all a big ol' poly knot made up of individual strings. Despite this. I have lots of free time for chatting and conversations, and some open evenings to fill.

So… Regarding the M4R tag. What I believe I am most looking for is. is: Community (if I can find it.), Friends (if we click), and connection (if it happens)
