Hello everyone, my name is Ryan and I'm looking for a long term relationship. Bear with me as this might be a slightly lengthy read and I apologize for any typos.

Age/Appearance: I'm 30 years old and I'm open to someone in the 24-38 age range. I recently had surgery and a couple infections that wreaked havoc on my digestive system so I gained a bit of weight, but I will be losing that in the next couple months. Interests: I am very much a nerd. I enjoy learning all the time. I am constantly reading, listening to books, watching online tutorials, and I'm even getting another degree now. I have a BS and MS in computer science and now I'm going back to get a degree in physics. I love space and so I'm hoping to get my degree and then start contributing to the field in an engineering capacity. I read both non-fiction and fiction and I'm always looking for recommendations. I also like playing dungeons and dragons. I just moved to 5e from 3.5 and there are some significant differences. I do watch some movies and tv, but not a lot. I am addicted to FROM and fully caught up. I also like Tracker (not caught up yet) and Lioness (finished season 2). I am slowly adding anime into things I've watched so open to recommendations there. I am back in the gym after I recovered and it's been a struggle. Everything is much harder than it used to be. I do like hiking and road trips. I need someone to pick a music playlist for us to listen to while I drive. This year I'm also getting my passport and would love to travel with someone. I have a large list of places I want to visit and would love to have company on the way. Especially if you have traveled internationally before.

Personality: I am calm and quiet when someone first gets to know me. I am a more introverted person. I tend to talk more and more as I get to know someone. I'm not used to talking very much though so I may lose my voice after a while. I am intelligent to the point where I basically live in my head and I will space out thinking of how I could go about solving complex problems. Despite this, I'm actually really good at listening. I'm also a very curious individual and like to figure out how things work. I have gotten better at not taking apart things though and now just spend more time looking up diagrams and thorough explanations. I'm pretty open minded. I don't always agree with everything, but I'm pretty accepting as not much bothers me. I just view everyone as doing the best they can based on how and where they grew up. So, don't be afraid to be honest with me.

Painful subjects: I don't really like politics and I always register as an independent. I vote across the board. People from both parties generally don't like me :). That's okay though. If your life rotates on who you vote for every 4 years, we are not right for each other. I was raised Christian, but have had numerous issues with different churches so that I got a bit more loose in my beliefs. I do believe there is a god, but beyond that I struggle a bit.

Now that the painful stuff is out of the way, we can move on.

Work related stuff: I am a software engineer. I just moved to Colorado for work and don't know anyone so open to friends as well. I am career oriented and make a good wage. I am open to my partner being career oriented or not. Either way doesn't bother me. I just like when a partner pursues something she is interested in and can tell me about it so I can support her.
