Hello. I'm having a very tough time falling asleep tonight - got a few things on my mind - so I decided to try to put my sleeplessness to use doing some much needed work. But I would also love to enjoy the company of some voice notes with a woman. It'd be a nice way to take my mind off of things, and maybe even help me sleep.

If you'd like to know a bit about me, I'm a 43-year-old man, single, and never been married. I'm a liberal, an Aquarius, and an INTP. I'm also a ginger with a white beard, and I've got a dad bod - I've been told I look like a great big teddy bear. I tend to naturally be shy and quiet, as I'm an introvert, but I do enjoy quiet companionship, especially as the night gets late.

I've studied English literature and film production, and I've written and directed short stage plays. I'm also working hard to become a professional writer.

When it comes to hobbies, I enjoy watching movies, playing D&D and Call of Cthulhu with my friends, reading history, fantasy, sci-fi, and comic books. I also enjoy watching video essays and documentaries on YouTube.

Currently I'm watching "The Good Fight" and "Seal Team," and I'm reading "The Machine Crusade" (Dune) and "Foundation and Empire." My favorite books are"Lord of Light" by Roger Zelazny, "The Generals" by Thomas E. Ricks, and "Paperbacks From Hell" by Grady Hendricks. My favorite series of all time is "The Wheel of Time."

My preference for women is one with a calming energy about her who can put me at ease. I've been told I have a soothing quality about me, so it'd be really nice to find a woman who shares that.

The reason why I'm looking to exchange voice notes is because I really enjoy the back-and-forth of actual interaction, of being in the moment with someone and connecting by listening to what we have to say to each other. Listening to another's voice is, to me, is far more real than reading text on a screen - I don't feel as much of a person when I'm distilled to such a thing. So I would love to share in your voice tonight.
