A funny little gremlin told me that we should all aspire to be a little reckless and embarrassing - for, after all, we are alive. Heeding the chalk-scribbled advice, I'm here to redress my lonely soul with steady, but very minute hopes that my post might interest a set of witchlike eyes.
Here is a little bit about me and what I have to offer.
Firstly, I am not interested in normalities. I could also express myself normally, sure, but I think this way is better and more fun. After all, I am alive. I like to feel energy and intensity through life and through art; my existence on this planet must be an endless accumulation of knowledge and experience - so far, my years have taken me through poverty, abusive and painful life-situations and even the army, but in more recent ones I've come to my best-ever employment and stability. Soon, I intend to travel and adventure more than I ever have as I now have the means to do so.
I love to read, and my soul yearns for both poetry and literature. I'm currently reading The Brothers Karamazov, and among my recently finished titles are Stoner, East of Eden, and The Song of Achilles. I could discuss these and other books infinitely, and I wish I had the time to read every opinion and review on them, but time is, perhaps, the most limited resource of all - we must pick and choose what to make of it. Digressions aside, feel free to browse my profile for chance appraisals and commentary on poetry.
Additionally, I keep up with historical and political non-fiction. I am a follower of historical materialism, and my present-day views are, concisely, supportive of all things unconditionally equal opportunity. A great non-fiction book I currently like is The Flowering Wand. My other interests include learning about biology and biorobotics and botany, as well as playing some vidya when I am too tired to do anything else.
I have a black cat and she is so precious to me. If you do not like cats, I implore you to keep distance.
Romantic aspirations are reticent and slow-coming for me; that sort of thing takes time and blooms in the nourishing of mutual interest. For those that give me a daring prod, there will be no assumption for more. If the circumstances are fit for a deeper connection, if it is meant to happen, both sides will realize it without issue.
Here is what I am looking for.
Be from a similar timezone (GMT 3, Europe), and be in a reasonable age range. Older is fine. Much younger is not. Other than that, my desires are abstract and general. The dream is to build up rapport with someone sharp and curious. I like assertive and opinionated people with a healthy sense of self-respect. Spirituality and mysticism are wicked boons that I adore. Academic or deeply self-studied knowledge on interesting subjects away from the generalities of pop or 'geek' culture appreciated with a sense of great wonder.
