As the city folds into winter, I find myself seeking a different kind of warmth - the kind that comes from good conversation, shared curiosity, and the spark of new connections. I’m a writer and academic, working in NYC by day and getting lost in words, museums, and the city’s tucked away galleries by night. I savor good food, drinks that linger, and poetry that sits with you, particularly in these months when the chill and quiet can bring both introspection and a touch of solitude for those of us prone to the touch of seasonal depression.
If you’re someone who also feels the shift in the air and finds yourself craving the company of like-minded friends to scout the seasonal ups and downs, I’d love to chat. Let’s roam the art and history housed in this city, swap favorite reads, or simply take on the city’s hidden spots, one meal or cozy bar at a time. I’m also entirely open to just chatting and keeping it there too so don’t let location stop you from reaching out to a kindred spirit. Here’s to keeping the colder days a little brighter and the hours filled with good company.
