There is a lot of empty space on my couch underneath the blankets at night as I get cozy and watch movies with a cup of hot tea or a glass of wine. And an empty coaster waiting to be filled. Soon the backyard will be filled with snow where we can sit and watch the snowflakes fall in the moonlight or go for a late night walk and listen to the waves wash up the beach in the stillness of winter.
And on the days where we have nothing better to do but sit and play video games together I'll be sure to have lots of snacks.
