At 54, looking to make a new friend feels like stepping into some strange, online world. I was always the one who could make connections just by walking into a room, no screen or app needed. Now, it’s like swiping and emojis is all anyone does. I feel like an outsider half the time. But let’s be honest, I’ve think still got it, a little edge, and a lot of stories to tell. I may not fit perfectly in this online space, but I pretty sure I would still make a good friend. Just need to find someone who sees the real deal beyond the screen.
