I never know how to start these things. But I’m going to give it a whirl and see where it ends up so bear with me. While I’m not exactly a “people” person due to my introverted nature I am trying to break out of my shell a bit. This can be a bit difficult when you work from home and work a lot like I do. So, I thought I’d give something like this a try to find some friends and build some lasting connections (etc.). As we all know meeting people and making friends at our age isn’t as easy as it was when we were younger.

I wouldn’t say I’m the most interesting person on the planet, but I can stumble into being funny on occasion and I have been trying out random hobbies to try and stimulate my creative side. I’m very much an animal lover and have a few rescue pets that I love to bits and pieces. I love to read but don’t have as much time to enjoy that hobby as I would like. I’ve also been concentrating on getting healthy and working on my fitness. It’s an ongoing goal. Not one that I’m hard core about more about life changes so that I live healthier and am healthier overall.  

I’m a bit of a sci-fi and fantasy nerd in some ways. Not all, but some. I’m a girl that will choose a movie or tv show that will take me on an adventure or make me laugh rather than one that will make me cry or scare me. Yes, sorry I’m not a fan of horror movies.

I’m single and while I consider myself open minded and easy going, I’m only interested in chatting with single folks around my age. There are some flexibilities to the age thing but not the single thing. So, if there is any sort of “it’s complicated” in your world please move on from my post. I’m allergic to drama. It essentially boils down to me finding it just plain wrong to talk to dudes that are in relationships.

I’m looking for all things with this, friendship is where it starts though. I just don’t want to limit the possibilities of where it could end up. I’m also not going to go into this with any expectations. Just want to make a genuine connection or two. Some new friends. Share some meaningful conversations with some fun and non-judgmental, honest and real people. Who can be patient with a girl who has a lot going on in her life.
