Hi! My name is Stella and I am recently out of an abusive relationship. You can find me brunching in a floor-length dress one day and a blazer thrown over lingerie and leather pants the next. I love getting all dressed up with friends, whether it's for a quiet night in, a fancy restaurant, or being incredibly overdressed for Busboys and Poets. Also, I have several hats with > 9" brims.

I enjoy intellectual and flirtatious banter. I'm pretty low-boundaries and enjoy flirting and cuddling with my friends. A good representative of my sense of humor is that my wife and I used to regularly quip that it was important that the guest room be stocked with a vibrator, condoms, and lube because we "wanted to provide a full-service experience, even for people who didn't want to join us in bed." I am a voracious reader and am a member of a sci-fi / fantasy / horror book club (I skip the horror though). I used to play D&D for many years and am interested in getting back into it. I'm not a huge video gamer, though I do enjoy them from time to time. The games I play habitually are OSRS and nuzlockes of Pokemon ROM-hacks (basically games modded to be incredibly hard and require more time spent planning than what would be traditionally considered "playing.")

I'm pretty active, or strive to be. I boulder at Movement in Crystal City and would love to make a climbing buddy. I also enjoy going on walks in the nature preserve near my house and hikes in Great Falls and Shenandoah, though I sometimes need to be reminded how much I enjoy such things. Camping is also great, weather permitting.

Romantically and sexually, I am a major flirt and acts of service and physical affection are my major love languages. I love doting on people to show my affection. My wife and I went from being friends who saw each other once or twice a month to people who spent 3 days a week together because she realized that if she called me when she left work and told me what she wanted for dinner, I would give her an ingredients list and cook her anything she asked for. Lazy mornings after where we lounge in bed for hours before making our way downstairs for waffles are wonderful.

I am playful and enjoy teasing and banter, and having repartee is quite important to me. Last year I had a fling with someone who I had no social chemistry with and quickly lost interest despite the sex being amazing. While teasing and banter is important, it's also important that I am able to discuss boundaries, desires, and emotions openly and bluntly with a sexual or romantic partner. Autism and a history of being emotionally abused is rough, and this is mostly to prevent me from getting worked up over nothing.
