2024 was an interesting year for me and I've lived a lot of life in such a short time. Through changes of location, new career prospects, and life's weird twist and turns I've found myself to reach out and find more like-minded people to share memories and moments with.
I'm a small, anxious, and excitable creature that's fond of morbid and spooky aesthetics, alt subcultures, and gaming. I'll have no shortage of dry, wry remarks and situational humor to help get us through the day, and probably no shortage of insane content I find while digging through the internet to share. If nothing else, you'll have the token big tiddy goth in your arsenal. π«‘
My hobbies are all over the place, cycling in and out of focus as I gravitate towards them in different moods and time periods. Music is my lifeblood and I love sharing new music with people. Primarily, I'm fond of prog and alt metal (think Deftones, Sleep Token, TesseracT, and a healthy dose of all the emo classics you grew up with) but I'll listen to anything and everything. Videogames and online culture kind of molded me in the early 2000s so if you grew up around this time period, we'll have tons to reminisce over.
You'll hear me talk about fountain pens, crocheting, medical journals, horror and true crime, memes, history, political science, science fiction, Cherry Coke, art, creative writing, makeup, and videogames depending on whatever hobby has a vise on me at the time. Primarily, I play FFXIV, Valorant, and League, yet manage to somehow be terrible at all of them. I've also got a burgeoning Steam library full of indie horror games I'm trying to find time to carve into.
Deep at my core is a love of learning and expanding. I love to hear others ramble about their favorite subjects and teach me new perspectives and information I haven't encountered before. Regale me with your life's work. As someone starting to hit the adult-ier part of my adult life, I understand life happens and we all need someone to lean on in those difficult times. Whether work, life, family, etc gets in the way, it's always nice to know you have people in your corner. I'm of the neurodivergent variety myself so store-bought serotonin won't be judged in this house. Finding friends who also are at this stage in life would be ideal, although I won't pull out a clipboard and start quizzing you on your 401K.
Send me a message if any of this speaks you!
