I’m a 42-year-old man based in Yorkshire, England. I’m intelligent, sensitive, attractive (so I’m told!), and caring. I’m looking for a younger woman who I can guide, support, and look after in what I hope will become a long term relationship.

In relationships in the past, I’ve always felt happiest when the dynamic was such that I was the more experienced and confident one, looking after, guiding, and protecting my partner, and making her feel safe. Using the experience and confidence I’ve developed over the years to help her to become the person she wants to be. It’s not solely about age, although it more naturally happens with a younger partner. It’s more about being with someone who wants her boyfriend to be a guiding force in her life, a man she can grow to trust and respect and give herself to, a man who takes the lead and is caring, affectionate, experienced, supportive, firm and even strict when necessary, patient, and above all loving.

I’m 6ft tall, about 12 1/2 stone, and in decent shape. I love books and would happily spend evenings curled up on the sofa reading together. I love the theatre and films, the occasional bit of live music or comedy, and I love being outdoors in the fresh air, walking in the countryside. I’m naturally a little reserved, but also sociable and adventurous, and I tend to see the funny side of life. I’m down-to-earth, calm, grounded, and sensible. I value integrity and honesty and have a firm sense of right and wrong. I’m enormously patient and have always found shyness attractive - I’m always happy to take things as slowly as my partner needs.

I tend to be attracted to slim/petite women with traditional values. Someone intelligent and sensitive, caring and thoughtful. Someone who is my intellectual equal but who also wants to be able to give something up to her partner and have certain weights taken off her shoulders. I don’t mind if you’re inexperienced or nervous; I would be happy to gently take the lead and help guide you.
