Hi there!
It's a Friday we made it to the end of the week. I'm at work (Work from home) and I've just been struck by how odd life is. I'm in my mid 30s now and I have a house and An espresso machine, which was a goal for college aged me LOL, and a car paid off and all this stuff and yet it feels empty? Or if not empty just sort of a letdown? Like what's the point? Remember that old saying "if you find something you love you'll never work a day in your life"? That wasn't true lol. I wonder if it's just because I'm in the USA is this feeling the same in other places? Everything is seemingly getting worse and I'm not necessarily uncomfortable just unfulfilled?
Why am I posting then? I feel like I need a lifeline, someone to notice me? I just feel invisible and like I'm coasting along doing "What I'm supposed to" but nothing really worthwhile or notorious? Are you the same?
More things about me that aren't a bummer...I'll eat anything once, not a picky eater. I have some hot takes. I like basketball and am looking forward to the olympics. I can't swim but I can keep a houseplant alive for 10 years! I'll listen to happy pop music at the gym but you wouldn't be able to tell cus I look kinda angry with my headphones on. I enjoy visiting cafes/coffee shops and just hanging out. I like going to bookstores and will always have a "to read" pile. If you have one, let me see it. I grew up with cats but I like dogs too, just more comfortable with cats. There's a coyote in my neighborhood. My favorite food right now is Korean Soft Tofu soup, my favorite food all time is tacos de tripas.
