Well I suck at creating cold introductions but lets give this a try....
My name is Gibs (no relation to NCIS). I'm a 31-year-old male living just outside of Toronto, close enough to see the CN Tower.
A bit about me to help you visualize the man behind the screen: I'm 6'1" with brown hair currently styled in a messy top with side fades. I have a beard and mustache with a surprising amount of red, I wear glasses, and while the government claims my eyes are grey, I call them hazel. Personality-wise, I'm a "see a problem, address the problem, fix the problem" type of person. It may take me a while to build a deep connection and call someone a friend, but once they are, they are dear to me.
I work for a large agricultural company in corporate IT. I really enjoy my job because each day is different due to the challenges I face. Although it can be stressful, it makes the day go by quickly. My job also gives me the chance to travel across Canada to support our various facilities.
As for hobbies, I love to read science fiction and fantasy, listen to a large variety of music, experiment with my 3D printers, paint miniatures for my Dungeons and Dragons group, and engage in some light PC gaming. Outside the house, I enjoy going for walks in the area, day hikes, or if I have vacation, going up to Algonquin or Massassaga for a canoe trip.
I am a loving slave to a black void kitty named Harley. Pictures are always available on demand, and she loves to cuddle. I also love dogs and have previously owned two, both as personal and family pets.
I hope we can connect, and if we click, the sky is the limit. If you are trying to steal my kidneys, can we just split the proceeds 50/50
