Oh gosh, you clicked, now it's up to me to keep you entertained... Luckily, I have five years of theater and two years of modern dance (none of that is true). Well, here goes nothing!
Ahoy! No, wait, let's not begin with that. How about... Greetings and salutations! I guess that works, but I reserve the right to change it later.
Simply put, I'm just a friendly trans woman who's looking for her person. I'd like to think I'm easygoing and open-minded, with a big heart, and an adventurous spirit. I'd also like to think I had the charm and wit of a thousand Clooneys, but sometimes things just don't work out the way we want them to. No ex-spouses, no kids (and not planning on either of those), but I'm a sucker for animals, and will be finding a furry feline friend of my very own in the near future (for now, my roomie's cats fill the void).
I currently work for an evil corporation (the boss man even snagged my childhood TV crush, the bastard), but I'll be making a big career change early next year, and could not be more excited. My job also keeps me generally fit, which is nice, although I'm trying to lose a few more lbs on top of that (thank the Lord for pickles and sparkling water).
As far as interests go, I love to travel (spontaneous road trip, anyone?), and have big plans for the future in that regard. I also tend to read a lot these days, which I'm very happy about, as I had been out of the game for a good while (give me all your book/comic recs!). I enjoy anything creative, from playing music to writing to pretending I can draw, and I have a few different projects in the works (we establishing that legacy, yo). I'm also decent at poker, I would like to start playing more pool, I have a deep love for baseball, and I often dream about stepping back on a skateboard (without breaking a hip, that is). Oh, and I'm always up for a movie (especially a good horror flick, but I'm all over the place).
Okay, I should probably put this little novel out of its misery, but to elaborate on the kind of person I'm looking for, first and foremost, just be a decent human being (no racists, bigots, killer robots from the future, that sort of thing). Other than that, I'm not too particular, all that really matters is chemistry. So if you think you might be interested in getting to know each other a bit, and it sounds like we're looking for the same sort of thing, please feel free to introduce yourself!
