It’s only pretend, after all. We can live in an entirely imaginary world for a couple of days. Let’s just drown in one another. I’ll be your Bonnie if you’ll be my Clyde! I’ll have your dink and dinner ready when you walk in the door from work. You’ll bring me flowers and I’ll do that thing you like. We’ll catch a buzz once the kids fall asleep and then who knows what’ll happen. The world is ours, baby. All you have to do is take my hand! I’m reaching for you and waiting on you, darling.
