Hi!
Recently, I stepped back from a number of people as life circumstances either made it hard for us to keep in contact and/or the conversation died down. I’ve been trying to not see it as a bad thing, but it is getting to me. Work keeps me occupied most of the time, but it would be nice to have someone to talk to throughout the day - and maybe keep me company in the evenings. I’m based in Southeast Asia (GMT 8), so you’re either a) keeping similar hours or b) an insomniac on the other side of the world.
I have posted here before and those posts are available if you want to get a better idea of me, but right now - I’m looking for someone that’s a good conversationalist, a bit of a nerd and possibly in possession of a nice voice. Good grammar/punctuation during text is a bonus, and if we hit it off - we can move to voice calls.
I’d like someone to send dorky selfies to, to go down the rabbit hole with (watch me fixate on something and then tell you everything I’ve read about it), maybe bounce ideas off of, or send you links to things that make me think of you. I do want someone who with common interests, although that could be video games (story-driven games, great characters, video game boyfriends), writing/books, Star Trek to music, fashion, history and memes. You can vent to me, go off on a tangent or even just tell me about your day.
Will we become best friends? Will it evolve into something more? Or will we talk for a night, never to speak again after?
