Hello all. Lots to say here. But going to try to help with the controversial stuff first so that I don’t waste anyone’s time unnecessarily.

I am very liberal, non-religious, and many of the things that come with those views. I am honestly not a good fit for someone opposite or even middle of the political or religious spectrum. Thanks!

My name is Kyle and I’ve lived in this small town in Michigan my entire life. I have 3 cats I brought in from outside either my house or my parents house. I do not have kids, never married, and very much single.

I just got back from a five day backpacking trip in Isle Royale, one of the least visited but most revisited national parks, where my friend and I got our asses handed to us by the Greenstone Ridge Trail and Rock Harbor Trail for about 45 miles total. It was my first time doing anything like this and Mother Nature threw it all at us it seems and I think we completed it on hard mode after ~1.5 inches of rain fell the second night and flooded nearly every path for the second half, it rained the day before we started as well. Realistically, we probably actually hiked more distance due to going off trail and all that due to the flooding.

Anyway, while I was doing this my mind thought a little about the perfect partner. These are not required but they’re meant to be an example of ideal and I doubt this exact woman exists, if you do match all this, please reach out immediately, you might be the mythical person I am looking for.

I am in love with short hair, those clear glasses frames, a voice that has that sort of Miley Cyrus huskiness to it, a personality that’s genuinely positive in everything and celebrates even the little wins, quirky about the interests and topics that matter to them, tries to keep active and can rock a pair of hiking pants or athletic gear but generally prefers being comfortable (whatever that means to you). I suspect I’m looking more for a tomboyish type mixed a bit with the geeky and athletic. Due to my activity level I really need someone to stay active alongside me or push me further!

Speaking of activity I do so by indoor rowing, running, rucking/walking, sandbag and body weight exercises, and hope to possibly throw biking in next year. It would be pretty awesome to find someone that does similar! I’m 5’7 and about 157lbs at the moment, close cut hair due to typical hair loss, and I tend to wear a lot of stubble most of the time but not really a beard, along with glasses. Happy to share pictures if we mesh well.

I also play guitar and take lessons as I try to improve. I’m taking it more seriously this time around as I’ve picked it up and stopped many times over the past 25 years or so.

I also read a fair bit. On track for about 35 books this year. A mix of fantasy and non-fiction.

I have worked from home for the past 12 years or so. I don’t really enjoy my current job and am looking for a way out but it’s a bit tough out there right now. Hoping for a positive change there this year however.

I’m pretty close with my parents and visit them multiple times a week.
