I’ve posted similar things before.

I am in a rough emotional state and in a frustrating romantic/sexual rut right now.

Currently I am having problems with a couple managers at work. While most people can avoid it by going home after work, for me that’s not possible.

For 4 days of the week, Monday-Friday, I spend outside of the county in a barracks with 10 other men and only come home on Friday mornings.

It’s a rough living (not military) and I’m also dealing with some rough and complicated stuff at home and the heart.

We’re conservationists for the state. We often live in campsites or barracks for most of the week while working on trail, forestry, and conservation projects.

I used to live in Tucson, but I moved back home to Whittier (in between La and Orange County) last year.

Me and my partner tried to do the long distance thing. I was hoping to propose July, but one day she called saying she was having difficulty seeing a future with me. She then ghosted me a few months later for a month before calling me to say it’s over.

Between 4-5 days working far from home, spending the weekends in a place I didn’t grow up and where I know hardly anyone (I grew up north of LA), all while nursing a broken heart, life is pretty isolating and lonely.

Would anyone be down to go for a hike or a night out on the town? We could go grab a coffee or a drink and chat about books, good shows, etc I am always eager to learn about new interests As for me, I am an avid hiker, biker, and gardener. It keeps me relatively fit. I am also a big fan of all the nerd stuff, comics, sci-fi. I’m trying out the new Boys season

We can even cry about work, life, and our exs before making out and going down on each other?

I just want to smile and see someone else smile again.
