About Me

The physical: 6'2, pale, thin, blue eyes, longish blonde-brown hair, glasses. Been described as a vampire librarian, but that's not possible because I can't read! Part Italian. A lot of women (and some guys) really like my voice. I've been told my face looks attractive in a cute way when the glasses are on, and attractive in a more dominant way when they're off, but it's not that magazine/movie type face.

I live in South Wales. I've been travelling my whole life for work, education, family, volunteering and fun, so if you're in the UK and want to meet, I'm ready to hop some trains!

I'm an editor, as well as uni student entering my final year, and am writing two books (yes, I will talk about them if you want. One is a sci-fi while the other is fantasy)! I wouldn't be a good writer if I didn't also like reading, so don't be shy about sending me long messages: I enjoy reading them!

My Summer Holiday is here, really long, and editing/writing means I choose my hours, so pretty available!

I love history, conspiracies, stories, writing, memes, science, general nerdy things, unhinged chats and roleplay. I'm somewhat interested in trying out cosplay, and very interested in developing digital art skills so I can make a comic or comics of the books I'm writing.

I like cooking, though I'm looking to get better at it. I can make a decent homemade pizza, spaghetti bolognaise, roasts and full english breakfast. I grew up without much access to it, so I appreciate good food!

Shows I love include Better Call Saul, Dungeon Meshi, Fargo, Inside Job, Midnight Gospel and Scavengers Reign. Friends have recently gotten me into Kaiju No.8, which I thought would be boring, but is actually awesome. I've finally been convinced to start watching Smiling Friends.

Games I love include Rimworld, Minecraft (specifically with friends!), Don't Starve and Rainworld. Percy Jackson, How To Train Your Dragon and RSPCB were the books of my childhood. Chainsaw Man is my beloved: I love Dingus, Asser and Nutter. In terms of music my favourite bands/musicians are Fish In A Birdcage, Mother Mother, Midas and Au the World.

Like above, currently thin-bodied, but have started to notice improvements from working out. Invest in your "nerdy twig for now, nerdy hulk tomorrow" today! I've been given the somewhat strange but welcome compliment of smelling nice after workouts by multiple people. Even before getting into working out, I've always been easily able to hike mountains without any breaks where others need multiple and do low-intensity workouts for very long times - stamina and willpower a-plenty!

I'm very much the flattering type, though I don't say things I don't believe (so, as much as I am just saying it because I want to make you laugh and smile, it is also all true).

Personality According to others

Got some assistance from two friends, both women, in fact-checking this post (so, at least according to them, I'm not mistaken about myself in anything here), plus in writing this bit.

They've levelled horrendous accusations against me: clever, fun, funny, kind, brave and level-headed in scary situations, quick to stand up for and help others without wanting anything in return, honest to a fault and generally optimistic, even though it's contrary to how they think someone with a past and upbringing like mine would be. I come off as older than I am, both in looks and behaviour. Good with animals, especially dogs.

I don't come with two downsides often attached to men of my interests; I'm hygienic and keep my nails nice and short. I'm introverted, but confident and socially competent. I have the sleep schedule of a panda, though.

My flaws according to them include things like: me being a devious gremlin troll who finds it fun to tease, argue and disagree with people. Me being way too romantic, an example being when I made a black oragami flower for a girl after learning her favourite colour was black and that she had allergies to actual flowers. I am, with neither doubt nor denial, a certifiably goofy man.

I've been compared to a dog by literally every woman I've been with, and some I haven't been with, as a compliment, insult, joke and backhanded compliment. It's usually never been prompted, either.

A uni teacher has compared me to Paul Atreides from Dune and both the friends here have said they can see it. I don't see it and think it's dumb but they've encouraged me to add it here. Unfortunately, Paul spends a lot of Dune going "I am not the [chosen one]" so my denial is being used as evidence against me. Help.

What I'm looking for

Looking for a woman who's nerdy, clever, fun, kind, honest and funny. Emphasis on clever and nerdy. Double (no, triple!) emphasis on honest and kind.

I have a preference for introverts. I find people who spend a lot of time thinking, such as because they're alone, interesting to talk to and learn about. Things you might think are offputting, annoying or weird about you are likely to just make you more endearing, funny and interesting to me.

I also have weaknesses for women that are unhinged, a little clingy and/or prone to going on rants about things they're passionate about (I've wished it was possible to kiss someone while they're ranting but it also be possible for them to rant at the same time as being kissed), but don't need them to be drawn to a woman.

I want us both to have a lot of fun chatting back and forth. I'm a greedy, greedy man: I want a lot more than sex. I also want dinner dates, chilling out watching movies and shows, playing games together, deep talks, horny talks, funny talks, dumb talks, silly talks, spending nights together, going out together to different places, cuddling and other intimacy, adventures, trying eachother's hobbies, engaging in mutual hobbies, and more, all with one person, and for that person to be someone I like, am liked by, find interesting, am found interesting by, trust, and am trusted by.

Obviously, also say whether you're looking for a relationship or to be fwbs, and what you think a relationship or being fwbs should consist of (since different people have different ideas)! From what I understand, a relationship means romance and exclusivity (long-term, this is what I want), whereas a fwb lacks either of those, but fwb is still someone you're also friends with? Sex without anything else usually hasn't felt good in my experience*, so I'm not interested in anyone who only wants sex.

*(in fact, it's usually felt bad. Among other things it makes my chest, throat and stomach feel tight and heavy. This doesn't happen when I'm having sex with someone I like and trust)

The keys to my heart are food, conversation, acts of kindness (this can be towards me, but I've also fallen pretty hard for women I was dating just from seeing them be kind to other people) and intimacy. Intimacy includes sex, but also hugs, holding hands, kissing, eye contact, being leaned into and other touching. I can be trusted near your fridge and food cupboards, please let me near them.

Spicy Burger, Board Game Café

There's an amazing spicy fried chicken burger place near where I live. I've brought one friend there, and intend to bring more! If you like spicy food, I could bring you! Heads up: I mean spicy.

There's also a board game café near where I live. Some strange niche board game neither of us have ever heard of between us, with snacks to the side!

On a side note, my sweet tooth barely exists. It's common for me to receive sweets and chocolates as gifts from friends and family, only for them to sit in my cupboards or bedroom uneaten for literal months. I think the chocolate christmas calender on my drawer is from 2022. If you happen to have a sweet tooth, I think we can come to an understanding.
