Getting tired of some of this long-distance chatting. I've made some AMAZING friends here, but I'm also getting to a point where I'm tired of living my life online all of the time and am seeking some more in-person interactions. I realize that that's a little ironic, considering that I'm looking on Reddit... but, alas! I strongly abhor the friend/dating apps, as they concentrate on looks. Generally, I've found the folks on Reddit do try a little bit.
Anyways, basically I'm looking to chat with folks and find some level of comfort online. Then we meet up! Hang out! Go get a beer! Do you have a dog? I have a dog! My dog loves dogs!! I've got a year long pass to Leu Gardens and guest tickets! Let's live offline a bit. Maybe you don't fish, but you wanna come hang at the beach and chat while I do the fishing thing?
If Leu Gardens is familiar to you, then you might be in the right area. I'm about an hour north of Orlando.
Just a bit about me: I LOVE a bad joke. I'm a silly goose. I love to be outside, fishing, kayaking, hiking. I love to bring my pup with me. I love to cook. I haven't been to any plays or concerts, but I'm VERY open to going to them! I'm a little shy at first, but I open up with some time -- which is my main reason for seeking a connection online first. I'm demiromantic/demisexual, so I'm not looking for romance off the bat. If it happens, it happens, but it takes a lot of time and trust-building to get there for me. I'm more seeking some folks to just hang and have fun with :) But I am child-free and not seeking any romantic relationship with someone who has kids. Platonically, though? I'm great with kids! They love me! I teach kids at summer camp and do have moments where I really enjoy hangin' with them.
I call myself a feminine-leaning nonbinary person. I prefer they/them pronouns, but also I appear very feminine and don't really care when folks who don't know my preferred pronouns call me she/her because I'm not interested in explaining it to everyone. More that it just makes me happy when folks use they/them for me... I can explain more if you're interested!
Anyways, this is terribly long, so I guess reach out and let's chat!
Under 28 is too young for me. Please let me know your age and gender or pronouns when reaching out. Tell me a little about yourself! Toss me a bad joke... anything! If you've reached out before, feel free to reach out again. Life has been insanely hectic for me, but things are finally slowing down and I'm happy to re-open up our conversation if it fizzled out :) Re-introduce yourself if that's the case!
