Howdyyy, I'm Allie!

Souls I can relate to have been like four-leaf clovers and I won't discover one if I'm not looking, so here I am! Maybe you're the one I'll find? I'm looking for something that will eventually become committal, nothing casual.

I have a heavy appreciation for hard work and security. If there's a way to make things from scratch, I embrace it. When I'm not in the kitchen, I'm out gardening, drawing, or researching whatever topic strikes my interest. I enjoy the occasional manga and anime. Swimming, playing pool, and reading at the library fill the moments I do get out. You might not guess it, but I'm happiest in nature! I love to hunt, fish, shoot, and take walks in the park. I'm all about personal growth, reflection, and improvement. I never really "got" modern dating culture or partying. Add the difficulty I have approaching strangers, and relationships are very intentional things to me. Don't worry, I open up quickly!

There's a lot of "You know, that actually makes sense." once you get to know me. My values, outlooks, and beliefs are something like the junk drawer in the kitchen, full of seemingly inexplicable and incompatible trinkets collected over the years. I like to believe such broad insight and experience gave me a very developed, thoughtful, and personal worldview. On the other hand, it also made me feel at home in few places. I'm often told I'm an authentic, communicative, intense, and supportive woman. Maybe a tomboy, certainly not primp-and-pink feminine. An old soul, a bit of an anachronism, and very much self-determined. I don't need a big house or fancy cars, a shack with a few acres of thicket and some livestock is enough for me.

I'm a cook and a baker, so an "I want precise quality" isn't always called for. We're not sandwiches, and this isn't a Subway. I think it's beautiful that people are imperfect! I see you being between 21 and 29, no older no younger. Single tank of gas distance or closer. "Flavor" and "texture" take priority over "presentation" in my view. I tend to get along best with STEM or writer "types". I genuinely want to cook for my future partner, so any dietary restrictions will throw a wrench in things.
