 As most geek/nerd my culture is now mainstream. Anime, Dnd/Pathfinder, MTG, comics/manga, video games. So if this is you, great we already have a lot to talk about. Music: most kinds, except don't like Christian Music and I really don't like whatever the latest music they have been putting to the airwaves as of late. 

I am somewhat well educated, though thank good for spell/Grammer check or I would look like an idiot more often than not. My talents lie in math and "Science!" I do have my Bachelor's degree.
