My name is Brandon (pic). I'm a 35-year-old guy living in Little Rock, and I'm currently navigating a significant life transition; namely, having filed for divorce earlier this year. I'm here to meet new and interesting people. While I'm not actively seeking a romantic relationship (M4F), I'm open to whatever naturally unfolds.

A bit about me: I'm deeply entrenched in academia, currently focusing on AI, machine learning, and deep learning. My research is all about detecting multi-modal manipulations in news media — a fancy way of saying I'm tackling the "fake news" problem across text, images, and video. If conversations about academia or anything academia-adjacent spark your interest, I'd really love to share in discussion, hear your insights, and have fun doing it.

Respect and decency are critical in interacting with others online, particularly given the fear and discomfort arising in many online, anonymous male/female conversations (unsolicited dick pics, ridiculous and unprompted sexual conversation, etc.). Be assured that conversation with me will be respectful, and I will avoid putting forward any unwelcome advances or uncomfortable topics. That said, I live life fairly openly, and I am not shy or guarded in conversation.

When I'm not buried in research, I enjoy supporting and uplifting others. Whether it's lending an ear, cracking a hilarious (read: groanworthy) joke, or simply being an attentive, active listener, fostering positive interactions is something I truly value. For leisure, I love the classics: old-school video games, board games, quiet social spots (bookstores, tea/coffee shops), and hiking/walking whenever the weather and scenery are pleasant. All with good company, of course.
