Seeking a "reading partner" aha! Ever since I've been traveling, I've realized people are so cool, and so are books! I love to write and read. I'm looking for someone to share with me. We could tackle a piece at a time and discuss our insights via Reddit chat or could even meet up at a Toronto Public Library. Or even the act of physically reading together I think would be really fun. I used to do it on the phone a lot.
I just finished "Brave New World" (amazing by the way) and I'm currently on "1984," (but I'm almost finished!). Maybe I'll do "Animal Farm" next, then "The Little Prince", followed by "Catcher in the Rye." But I don't know too many people IRL that actually like reading as much as me. I would like to think it would be cool to find that person here.
About me:
I'm an avid traveler, I have a pretty good sense of humor. I also like playing games like Cities Skylines and Civ5. But mostly I love to travel. Currently backpacking through Asia, but will be back in Toronto soon. My ideal person would be someone who also likes to talk about their experiences with something they've read, since that's what I like. It doesn't have to be a novel or whatever. It could just be a short story, New Yorker article, or any topic.
