Hi! I'm east asian professor of internet and gaming culture. I turned 50 last fall and did some serious reflection about my life and what I want to get out of it before its brief existence comes to an end. I've decided that finding someone with whom to share deep conversations and impart any semblance of wisdom I may have is what gives me meaning and purpose (which makes sense since I love teaching). I'm resolved to try to get to know a younger soul even deeper than would be allowed in my normal professional life.
Beyond that, though, I'm also a huge sci-fi and gaming geek. I like analyzing media and thinking about what we can learn from stories to make the world better and foster empathy among people. I'm extremely anti-capitalist, an atheist, very left-leaning politically, a feminist, and an ally to LGBTQ and bipoc peoples. I listen well and I try to practice unconditional love for all. I think about my values and actions consistently and have vowed to never knowingly exercise power over another.
While it'd be great just to chat, hang out, and maybe play some games with someone from whom I can regain my faith in humanity, I'm simultaneously looking for a FWB situationship so that would be great, too. I like to please and be appreciated for my love. Obviously, the teacher-student trope may be a huge appeal to some, and I admit it's certainly one for me. ;P I would prefer petite white women, but I'm not picky. Please send me a chat if interested!
