Hi! My names Scott I am from Vermont. I am a romantic, extroverted, and not quite recovered former theater kid Information sponge and color lover. I am 5’11 with brown curly hair (just got a new haircut!) with deep blue eyes.
I am skilled in all things people-want a partner whos good at organizing either for direct action or for a family event? I am your man! Need someone to translate your emails so people actually read them? Can do! Want a partner who knows how to have hard conversations with people who matter to them? Absolutely! Have a seat! Need that coworker to rebuild their boundaries with you? I've got your back! I am looking for a long term partner for a monogamous relationship. I am looking for a relationship with someone ideally between 25-36 but if we are a good fit don't get discouraged! While I typically date older the reality is that I live in a rural state so meeting anyone new is really hard! Even for me! I have dated both introverts and extroverts so don't get off put by my unwavering enthusiasm its part of my charm and not my annoying habit I'm not unrelenting in positivity I just like talking with people. I want a partner who's going to be my best friend and closest confidant and who wants to actively build that relationship of trust and wants to make “us” a priority, I like to be physically affectionate and I like to know when it's going to be well received- I don't care how you express your sexuality but you do need to be willing to engage in sex positivity and have that conversation-doubly so if you need specific boundaries met, I can take a hint and take the lead but I'm not a clairvoyant. You need to be willing to use your words.
Currently I work full time and study part time to finish a degree in pre-law. One of my parents was a former paralegal and I have always liked the work of John Adams the best of the founding fathers ( for the eighteenth Century he was pretty based at times go look him up). I want to work as a legislative drafter and may even one day want to be a judge. Mostly I just want to write helpful law that most people ignore because its the boring important stuff that makes good government work. I firmly believe in building institutions that reflect the needs of the people and removing the ones that dont. As the type of try hard I am, I am already reading the civil code and working my way through state and federal supreme court hearings. My interests include organizational psychology, politics, science, video games and animation (the things I do for love-send me a message with your guess of this reference for me to know you at least read this far!). I am an atheist moral postivist, secular humanist. I love history! If I had my way I'd read nothing but history all day. I work with mutual aid in my community, actively seek to educate others through workshops and always build ties in the community I reside in. My parents are lesbians if you cant handle that-be better. I was raised in a household that was generally pretty open and progressive so im really not afraid of new or different things. I am the youngest of three with two older siblings each two years apart from each other and am really close to both. I am a cat lover (can provide video and photo evidence without prompting) but I also like people who respect the animals in their life. I love the outdoors and nature, David Attenborough power-hours are a thing in this house. I love hiking, swimming and kayaking. What was the tallest mountain you climbed? I cant wait to meet you folks and yes I typically ask a whole host of basic questions-don't worry I may bite but I'm not a scary job interview.
Pinky Promise!
