All throughout my youth, I chased romance. The feeling of butterflies when you met someone. I have to say it never lead me to the ârightâ person.
If anything, it just got in the way of figuring out if youâre compatible with someone. You chase people youâre attracted to, complacent about actual compatibility.
You date for a few weeks or a few months. Until you get comfortable enough to be yourself around the other person. And thatâs when you actually find out if youâre remotely compatible.
It feels never ending. and I sort of grew tired of the dance.
So Iâm seeking to speak to women who are also in a similar state of mind. Who are 100% ok with who they are and think they can be honest about it whether it turns someone on or off.
Iâm a happy homebody. I dream of a world where I can flip a switch and go anywhere I want with zero traffic and zero people. I can entertain myself for hours with the aid of the internet. That doesnât mean I donât like to get out and do things. It just means my default is to be home.
I donât have children. I have no pets (allergic to cats and canât be bothered to take a dog out to pee at 630am).
I am rather good at 1 on 1 conversation but tend to get more awkward in larger groups. Not totally comically awkward just slightly uncomfortable enough to affect my demeanor.
I have hobbies and creative outlets. Cooking. Music. Photography. I donât believe you have to be the best at something to enjoy it. I donât judge my creativity against anyone elseâs.
I dream of owning a home (but donât) and having a nice big kitchen to cook in. And a sound proofed music room where I can leave my instruments out so that I can play them as loud as I want whenever I want. Creativity comes regardless of the time of day. And I tend to be a night person
I have inappropriate and or vulgar humor. I laugh about dark things. Perhaps itâs a way of coping but it makes it hard to make new friends as you get older.
Anyways.
Tell me about you? About all those delicious traumas that sculpted you.
When did you figure out who you were? What was the catalyst?
What are your secret aspirations you guard from the general public.
What are your passions?
What do you do for a living? Do you enjoy it?
Lastly, I am looking for people hopefully somewhat close to Dan diego.
My name is not a reference to necrophilia itâs a band from 70s.
Tell me what your Reddit name is a reference to so I know youâre real.
Thanks!
