Hi everyone. In December I did a very rushed road trip around Western europe (Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria) and enjoyed the drive and the experience.
I want to do more traveling like that, preferably take a weekend out and then drive to Belgium and back. But this time not so rushed so I can get a tour of the old buildings, I don't have to settle for some random waffle but get the best waffles and plan a bit ahead.
And for that, I'm seeking some like minded friends. I'm not interested in anything romantic. I like discussing random observations and am more likely to make the trip if someone else is involved. We could even group up to 3 or 4 people. Although 4 already seems to be pushing it a bit considering we will likely travel with a car.
So if you're in Germany or even within drivable distance, let me know.
and of course a bit about me.
- not a native German, but speak German acceptably
- been living in Germany for 8 years
- speak English fluently
- agnostic
- non-smoker, don't consume alcohol
- friendly, likes to read books
essentially I have no problem with your orientation, gender, smoking, or alcohol consumption, unless it becomes excessive to the point the car is reeking of it. Remember we're going to be stuck driving on the autobahn for several hours, so let's be present and make frequent stops to air things out.
Yeah that's pretty much about it. In the end if I don't find anyone, I'll just put up ads on blabla and get a random stranger, at least for the drive!
Schönes Wochenende!
