Hi there! I’m a scientist for a tech company out on the east coast in a big city. The company is connected to a nearby university, so my job is a hybrid position where I teach classes on occasion. I also have a PhD from a so-called “top” university, but I don’t really see myself as too different from the average person. I like video games, nonfiction, hiking— pretty normal stuff in my opinion.
My job is great but to be honest it’s isolating and my work friends mostly check out after the day’s over. Additionally, when we do go out, we only ever do group activities, which is nice, but it leaves me yearning for a more personal one-on-one connection.
I’m hoping to find someone here who likes to think (STEM or not) and is intellectually curious. I like to put a face to a name, so please send me a selfie if you reach out to me, and I’ll send one back. I’m 5’10, mixed race, clean-shaven and in decent shape, though I’m trying to make gains at the gym.
Let’s start with chatting and keeping each other company. I’m looking for a friendly/flirty type relationship where things go where they naturally go. Then maybe we could have a voice chat, and if things go well, we could meet up one day?
