Well hello there, ^{fancy seeing you here!}

How are you today? ^{I'm not bad.}

I haven't slept in 32 hours but since when is almost falling asleep driving to work not fun?

So here is a little about me:

• My username is French; it should be read as "jolie dame".
• I am working on my doctoral thesis right now. It is due Friday at roughly 6 PM. I'm not completely done with it yet, but if I stay at it constantly I will scream and pull my hair out.
• I will be 27 in 12 days. I don't know if this is awesome or terrifying.
• My dog is sleeping on my feet. He is deaf and fat. I think he is also mildly racist. This makes me embarrassed to take him out sometimes since he is albino. I think my dog might be a white supremacist.
• I did not grow up in the United States; I am a dual citizen. English is not my first language either. Want to guess which one is?
• I was in the military for 9 years but recently decided to completely change career fields in the civilian sector. Some think this was a stupid decision but I am happy, and that is what matters. (Want to know what I do/did? Ask!)
• I am a tomboy. I prefer to hang out in the company of the less fairer sex. I chalk this up to preferring sports to shopping and growing up setting things on fire instead of braiding my hair. I still don't know how to braid my hair actually...
• I play video games a lot. However, due to my increasingly busy schedule (I work roughly 50 hours a week/5 days a week and I go to school) I am behind the times on games. I am looking forward to getting back into them however. I'm actually a girl gamer, not a girl who pretends to game. I am more than willing to prove this to you after this weekend.
• I am craving Thai food right now. I like spicy foods. They are delicious. It's not spicy enough unless I am sweating and can't taste other foods.
• I read books. I'm even writing one. It's semi-autobiographical. I will probably self publish. (If you want to discuss literature I am more than happy to. I would include a wall of author names here but I know this is already TL;DR).
• I also like music. Lots of music. Spotify keeps me sane. Have any suggestions for me to bump my head to as I bump out this thesis? Bring it!
• I also also like movies. Let's discuss movies too. I am usually bad at making "Top 5" lists so I just randomly look at my movie bookshelves and name off five of them.

Anywho, that's enough about me. Now it is time to tell me about you.
