Me: Introverted, married elder millennial who works (a lot) from home and struggles to make real connections with people. It can take time to really open up and it doesnât happen often, but we keep trying, right? I know there are people you meet that feel like you immediately Bluetooth connect and youâre just on the same wavelength. Does that still happen after the whole pandemic thing?
Music is one of my biggest passions, and a lot of my free time goes to it. Listening, playing or writing little songs that make me happy. Iâm also branching out into stories more and more lately, weâll see if I ever get one totally finished.
I love animals. I have three but my âlottery dreamâ would be a sanctuary farm.
Iâm open to long term chats, maybe the occasional voice chat if we get along, or even just a conversation for the night if thatâs all we end up having. I will say, please be prepared to leave Reddit chat. I will not maintain a conversation here, the interface sucks and I donât get alerts. I also donât love the penpal vibe of messages or email, so some kind of messaging app.
I wonât narrow you down too much, other than saying no creeps or assholes. And Iâm very liberal, so if youâre very conservative we just wouldnât see eye to eye on much or have much in common. And absolutely no Trumpers.
While I would love to make friends close enough for real life, I understand most of the people that will see this are not. I will say itâs probably easier if youâre at least in North America, I keep a pretty early schedule (both waking and sleeping) so it helps if youâre similar. Work can keep me pretty busy during the early hours of the week days, but if we get along and youâre patient, there will be time.
If you made it all the way here, you might as well check the profile and send a message now, right?
