Hello and thanks for stopping by. Proceed at your own risk because I tend to write a lot!

I have yet to find someone I really click with, so I thought here would be a great place to try. I'll start with some (hopefully) interesting things about me:

• I'm 32 but I've always been told I have the soul of an old man.
• I'm currently single and 100% monogamous.
• I live in the east of England.
• I don't do drugs or smoke or any of that. I'd be happy to share a drink, but I don't really do it on my own.
• I guess some would count coffee as I drug, I do really like coffee! I once bought a 12 pack of flavoured ones... most of them were terrible, but it was fun to try them all. I had to throw away the cookie dough one, that was awful!
• I'm 178 cm and about 90 kg. Not exactly fit, but not that overweight either. I was at my ideal weight before the whole lockdown ordeal, but it's been a while and I have to get back there. Maybe we could go hiking together? Or something else?
• I enjoy baking, though I don't do it much. I make homemade pizza every weekend though, it's tradition by now.
• I used to do woodworking as a hobby, but haven't done it in a few years. Hopefully I'll get back to it at some point, maybe once I live in a place more suitable for that. It's really fun and fulfilling to make your own furniture!
• I like anything DIY or craft related. If you have any hobby like that I'd love to hear about it, maybe even participate!
• I'm a bit introverted (but not shy) and kind of a homebody. I still enjoy going out with good company though, it's just that if I'm on my own I'd rather do other things at home.
• I'm an engineer, which I love. My personality is pretty spot on to what you'd imagine too.
• I enjoy discussing anything and everything. I can take any conversation "seriously", like how fun it'd be to try a bouncy castle in outer space.
• Last but not least, I'm a big nerd and I really like video games. I'm not competitive at all though, so you won't find me playing competitive fps for example. But I love anything coop or chill and I would love to find someone to do this regularly with. To name a few games I really like: Terraria (personal favourite), Ark, Valheim, Stardew Valley. I think you get the idea. But I also like other coop games, from any kind of puzzles to 2-player story games (like It Takes Two or A Way Out), I have a lot of them that have been waiting for years to be played. I also really like Age of Empires 2, which is kind of the odd one out.

So what am I looking for here? I want someone I can slowly get to know and form a deep connection with. I want someone who will think of me first whenever something good or bad or interesting happened in their day. Maybe you saw a funny dog on your way to work and you want to send me a picture. Or you had a bad day at work and you just want to come home, snuggle and I'll pat you on the head until you forget about everything else.

Someone who enjoys just talking about whatever. Maybe we're both just doing house work and we can be on the phone keeping each other company. If you're the kinda person that always brings up the weirdest of subjects (and you know who you are, I've met some of you before!) then that's great, I'm always happy to talk about it. You'll always find me on Discord if I'm not at work (most of the times anyway) so I'm happy to talk whenever.

I'm also very stable mentally, don't really get depressed, have outbursts or get angry. That plus being quite rational I think makes a good influence on others... specially if you're more anxious and needed of a anchor in your life. I'm also very focused in the things I like, so if I end up liking you then I will put all my attention on you. That means that needy and clingy girls can step to the front, because we're going to get along just great! =D

Ideally, someone around 27-34 would be nice, although I'm not too strict about the age as long as we get along and the age gap is not too large. I definitely want something that becomes a real-life thing at some point, so while I'm happy to start online I couldn't do an LDR forever, it would be okay as long as we know it's going to become a reality in the future (however long that may take). My current job will keep me in the area I live in now for the time being, but I'd like to get something fully remote in the future, so other parts of the UK might work too in the long run, I'm in the Cambridgeshire area now. Outside of the UK is more difficult, but not impossible, finding the right person is more important! As a side note, I have a bit of a dominant personality with my romantic partner, make of that what you will (although it's not too important).
