Sometimes long term relationships just don't work out. But after you've tried your ex-wife for unlawful carnal knowledge and high treason and she's publicly beheaded, then what? It doesn't change anything, not really - you still have to move on and see what comes next in your life and here we both are.

First, I should probably say that I'm not selling happily ever after over here, because unlike most guys I'll be honest and say I can barely commit to a 24 pack of smartwater, especially at this point. So let's just be two people getting to know each other and seeing how that shakes out. I'm generally good at figuring out the right thing to do in any given situation and you are too, right? That's why you're here on r4r looking for quality and not getting ghosted by that Tinder guy who swiped on anything with a pulse.

Now it's time to tell you about me and to make what I tell you sound absolutely adorable, like I design surfboards for dogs and make the company pay me in chihuahuas and Chinese noodles because I have so much love to give and the chihuahuas get so hungry after surfing. But no sorry folks, I'm an adult in 2023 and a success story in a post-modern economy which means I work with people and with abstractions, and you know what? I fucking love it, I absolutely do. Hopefully you either get it too, or at least can get that about me.

What else - well like I said I got out of LTR (marriage) a while ago and one of the first things i figured out is that the best way to stave off depression and anxiety was to make positive progress in your life. Since then I set up a home gym and have been using it religiously, and have taking on challenging but achievable projects in writing , computing, and other areas of my life. I also have a great best friend whom I hang out with, honestly the one guy in the entertainment industry I would trust to hold my wallet haha, and although dating's been a dumpster fire, it did actually lead to another really good friend, because for once she and I said "let's just be friends" and actually meant it.

And I'd prefer to talk to people in the LA or at least SoCal area, or who plan to be. I don't care about age but if you're young please be intelligent and interesting. An unhealthy life style would be an issue for me - stuff like excessive drinking, smoking, drugs, gambling, etc. It's difficult to see someone that you care about do that kind of stuff. Oh and I guess I'm more of a cat person than a dog person although I don't have one at the moment. Also I don't get along with people who are "all politics all the time", and really who does at this point.
