And then you look at your phone and you see that's just an automated message from your bank and you are like "Dammit!". But at least, if you are reading this, that's at least something we have in common!

But in all seriousness, I think we all know about that: the excitement of waiting to hear from that person, checking your phone regularly, and then the giggling when you get a message and you just smile like a dumbass. Well, that would be me in a nutshell!

So, first post here, not sure how to go about it so it will probably be mostly awkward rambling! In a few words, looking for something long-term, be it friendship or, if we vibe that much, something more. To that end, I would much prefer if you are in France or Europe, it would make things much easier after all!

I guess a few words about me would be good too! Well, simply but, I am the best guy there is, obviously! Or not, but I try to improve, it's something right? Let's make a list, lists are good!

- Definitely an introvert. You are not likely me to find me in bars or concerts. I much prefer being with a few friends playing boards games and talking rather than spending all night in clubs. Or I will be home with my cats! I guess that explains why I turned to Reddit, ah! I don't have a lot of friends, and that make them all the more special to me! I prefer the calm and serenity to anything else.

- Definitely on the geeky side: science-fiction, fantasy, games and what not, you name it! Tell me you want to watch LotR extended edition and I will marry you on the spot! I also enjoy thrillers, comedies, and even romantic stuff! I am not a complicated guy. I do love easy, cozy evenings watching stuff, with maybe a few snacks! I recently started binge-watching as a matter of fact so I have loads to watch. Also, Scrubs is amazing. As for games, a preference for RPGs and Coop games.

- But I do enjoy going out! Thing is, like most things in life, it's best when shared, right? I enjoy bowling, ice-skating, skiing, and practice paddle, archery and futsal. I also enjoy simple walks under a clear sky. Or a grey, rainy sky. Or a cloudy one. The sky is cool. Also, I love snow. My dream would be to see the Northern Lights, so Norway here I come! Then Iceland! I just love exploring, discovering and being amazed by the scenery.

- I am a great listener. I just love listening to others, so if you want to break my ears with whatever is on your mind, your passions or anything else, be my guest! I value honesty and communication above anything else, and I am not afraid to speak what is on my mind or heart. Many things would be much easier if we could simple be and express ourselves.

- I have a terrible humor. I will make many "That's what she said" jokes, and absolutely love sarcasm and dark humor. But more than anything, I appreciate a good banter and back and forth, making fun of each other and teasing! The more I like you, the more likely I am to make kind fun of you! And I hope you will too!

- A small physical description! I think it never hurts, and if you are looking for a relationship, I do think that physical attraction is a thing. As such, I don't mind trading selfies so we can get that out of the way. As for me: quite tall (197cm / 6'4), blue eyes, chestnut hair, in shape. Hair messy most of the time.
