Hello there, the title pretty much sums it up but I suppose I need to add a few more details.
I'm struggling with the end of a relationship and losing my best friend. I met her 2 years ago on Reddit, from a post that I made where I was looking for someone to watch a movie with. She messaged me the following day, saying how she was an avid horror fan (I was not) and her favorite movie was "The Thing". I got back to her with a couple of movie suggestions that we could watch and we settled on "Upgrade" (Very cool flick, if you haven't seen it already). The experience went swimmingly and soon enough we were inseparable.
Fast forward a little over 2 years and I've now seen just about every horror film there is (Aside from extreme gore) and I actively keep on the lookout for new spooky tales to dive into. That's when it hit me though, entering into Spooktober, that I would be all alone trying to watch a genre that she opened my eyes to.
I have a big heart, great at being supportive, and an active listener. I'm a cinephile, PC gamer, I'll make you amazing playlists... I could really just use a friend to help me get through this dark pit I find myself residing in. If you're hurting from something, anything, feel free to reach out as well. I'm totally down to help you along your path to brighter days and finding true fulfillment.
If possible, please use the direct message option. The chat function always seems to wig out on me. Take care, and thanks for taking the time to read my post.
