Nice to meet you. I'm a 23-year-old trans man (female-to-male) looking to chat, either as friends or as something more. At heart, I'm an extrovert, and am happy just meeting people and seeing where things go. Friends, FWB, short- and long-term all sounds good to me.
Currently, I'm looking to branch out from my current friend circle and meet new people. In all people, I love it when I meet a sense of adventure that parallels mine. Nothing makes me happier than getting lost and finding my way back out; exploring new cities, places, restaurants, and experiences, and going off the beaten path to random places we see on the highway or on the map. I like doing stuff -- I'm not much a stay-at-home Netflix-watcher. I'm also actively seeking a partner, either short- or long-term. In a partner, a desire to learn and grow over time is important to me. I've been a thousand different versions of myself so far, even as young as I am, and I love being next to people who evolve too.
A little about me:
I've been described as having "rainbows firing out of [my] ass all the time" by a good friend of mine. I'm optimistic, sunny, and love being alive. I'm also confident, crass, and a little blunt.
Physically, I'm 5'3" 120lb, fit, brown-haired and doe-eyed. Got a weird little mix of Caucasian and Pacific Islander going on. Face available on request.
I'm a paramedic working 911. It's my favorite job I've ever worked and it's taught me a lot. My sense of optimism comes from the knowledge that everything could be so much worse.
I'll be going to medical school soon, starting in August. I don't know how I finessed my way in, but they gave me an acceptance letter and, by God, they'll have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands.
My nerdy loves are music, biology, and linguistics. Outside of my quieter hobbies, I love exploration of all kinds, from abandoned buildings to natural parks. I'm an ex-birder and but still remember a lot of local birds, and I'll still whip out my old binoculars on occasion. Writing is also important to me and I've had a few things published in little journals.
I travel quite a bit for work and am freely available in Sacramento, Davis, Vacaville, Fairfield, Vallejo, and the East Bay (Richmond, Oakland, Berkeley, Concord, all that good stuff). IRL only, no online, so please be in one of these areas. I'm not a long-distance guy at all. Under 40, please, and no couples. No PMs, please, chat requests only, and let me know what city you're messaging from. A little more than "hey" helps me out a lot.
Looking forward to meeting you. Write an intro as if David Attenborough were introducing you as a beautiful, whimsical, yet endangered animal on a tiny isolated island habitat.
