Hi!

I haven’t posted here in a few years, but I figured I’d try again. I’ve met a few really great people, but we eventually grew apart as the years went on. I work in architecture / engineering and would love to talk to someone in a similar field about who understands how draining the work can be sometimes.

A bit about me: I’m 31, blonde, blue eyes, 5’9”, 170-175 lbs and enjoy working out 3-4x a week. I have a really sweet and loving Yakutian Laika that takes up a chunk of my time, but we go on runs together and he’s truly the best canine companion- more than I could have ever hoped for! We both love to hike - especially winter hiking! I went on an Arctic mountain climbing expedition a few years ago in Norway and have fallen in love with their culture. I do my best to life simply and happily, although I can definitely be a little neurotic and anxious (occupational hazard, I suppose). In my spare time, I love to read the classics (named my dog after a somewhat famous Russian lit book- bonus points if you can name the book once I tell you his name!) I also love baking and photography- mostly landscape and abstract photography.

What I’m looking for: Someone who enjoys working out and being outside. Someone who can hold a conversation- ranging from existential nihilism, ethics, architecture, civil engineering, the arts, travel, etc. Physically, I am really not very picky. I just ask that you prioritize your health and have similar interests in fitness. I am DEFINITELY not a gym rat, but would love someone who can challenge me and vice versa. Most importantly, a connection. Ideally, the person I’m seeking lives in a major city. I would also prefer someone within the same time zone - EST

I have been feeling very lonely lately and would really enjoy getting to know someone new. I know this post doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of who I am or what kind of person I’m searching for, but a connection is a must.
