When I was a kid, my favourite colour was blue. Why, you ask? Was it because of the sky, or because I loved the ocean (I watched the Blue Planet and a kid wanted to be a scuba diver). No. It was because everyone else’s favourite colour was red, so I HAD to pick blue because everyone knows blue is the opposite to red.

Anyway, everyone also loved DC comics because of Batman so OBVIOUSLY I loved Marvel. Not like, to the extent of reading as many comics as people who actually read comics, but I liked Spider-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp. Have I mentioned I’m an entomologist? That’s actually not a connected fact but it is true. I have a weird set of coincidences like that in my life, though I suspect everyone does. And then Marvel became mainstream. How heartbreaking.

To cut a long story short, I just watched Quantumania! I know it just came out so I’m going to repost this in a couple of days but I really want to talk to someone about it! None of my IRL friends are into Marvel, sadly - most of them left a while back but I just... like unashamedly liking the things I like.

Alternatively, I also love drawing and creature and character design, and especially designing fakemon! I’ve designed a few recently and would like to keep going with this, maybe make a region! Let me know if this is something you’d like to do with me :)

Overall I’d just like to get to know people :) I love getting to know the diversity of people out there, and especially love flirting and role-reversal in relationships. I want to make a long-term friendship from this, and if you live nearby, I’d also really like to meet up somewhere mutually safe if we feel comfortable doing so. I have been going through a really confusing time mentally recently, so I would really appreciate gentleness and empathy.
