Hi! It’s me again. Still looking to meet my next partner. I’ve made a number of posts sweet and unsavory, and still haven’t found what I’m looking for. I’ve tried listing my hobbies and interests, which hasn’t yielded the response I’d like, so I’m going to try to list some traits I value in people I get along best with.

I value passion. People who are passionate about their hobbies, their career, their creative outlets, art, movies, music, anything that speaks to their heart, are people I want to get to know.

I value good listening skills. Someone who is open-minded when listening to and engaging with others. Someone who listens with empathy first and gives advice when asked. Someone patient and understanding.

I value quality time. My love language. I value face time and in-person companionship. Anything from a dive bar to a concert to any other shared activity. Bonus points if it’s tied to a passion.

I value confidence and charisma. Someone who knows who they are and what they want. Someone who has done the work to figure out and carry their shit.

I value building chemistry over a spark. This is harder to define but sometimes it’s just a feeling. Maybe someone who values all the above and more. Someone who is willing to put in the time and effort to see if a little kindling of chemistry can be nurtured to a wildfire.

I value sensuality. I’m a very sensual person and experience much of the world through my senses. This extends to being a highly sexual person. When it comes to sex I’m curious and playful and fun. You can see my previous posts for some of the things I’m into.

I value emotional intelligence. Someone who can name what they’re feeling and aren’t afraid to feel it. Someone who can talk a similar emotional language to me is a plus.

I value platonic intimate relationships. Cultivating tenderness and empathy for friends and family is deeply important to me, and having healthy relationships that work.
