I've decided to try and break out of the dating app routine by being a little more targeted and intentional about the kind of person and dynamic I am looking for.

I'm a 29 year old male living in NYC, over time I have realized that I am sexually and romantically 'submissive', this means I am attracted to women who are dominant towards me in the relationship and in the bedroom. Although in person I do not appear submissive, I am a confident guy with a job that I love and plenty of life accompolishments. However... I have learned that being submissive for my partner is an incredible feeling for me and is a critical part of how I learn to trust and feel safe. The way I have expressed my 'submisiveness' in previous relationships includes being held and cuddled by my partner, her 'forcing' me to wear a little makeup so I can be pretty for her, or more extreme things like being spanked or pegged with a strap. I know it sounds wierd to most people, but this is how I express my emotions and learn to trust and love my partner.
