I'm trying this again, as I miss those times where you have a conversation with someone and you immediately click. Then ones where it feels like you've known each other for ages and just 'get' each other, and it doesn't feel forced or awkward. I really enjoy speaking to motivated and driven individuals. The ones who don't let life pass them by, and have ambitions and goals they're trying to achieve. I also love talking to academics (mainly because I was an awful academic and I'm envious).

Tell me about your studies, what you're researching, or what goals you have for the future and I'll tell you mine!

It'd be awesome to build a deeper platonic connection with someone, and if we click, perhaps play some games / VC together. If it leads to something more, then cool. But I'm not one to rush things, and I value good conversation more than anything.

All I ask is that you’re preferably 24-32 and from the UK and take the time to write a bit about yourself when you message! I will not respond to low-effort messages, as I need something to go off to determine if we’re likely to get on 😊

A bit about me!

I'm 27 from the UK and have been working as a software developer for the last 9 years. Whilst I'm passionate about tech, I’m also conscious about it’s dangers / limitations, and think that the humanities are equally, if not more important when using technology to fix societal issues. My main focus recently has been on web accessibility, trying to make the internet more usable for marginalised groups.

📚 I’m a super passionate person, and get a lot of my fulfilment through learning new things and teaching others. My interests fluctuate in intensity, but photography, houseplants, and interior design are the ones that’ve stuck!

I love to read non-fiction too. Mainly on topics such as AI, neuroscience, InfoSec, and cybercrime. (Don’t get me started on these topics, as I’ll speak for hours and you’ll soon regret it!) I'd love to get some more fiction recommendations though!

🖌️ In an attempt to find more creative outlets, I’m also learning about 3D modelling / printing / Architecture Visualisation in my spare time!

☀️ My happy place is when I’m surrounded by plants with a cat on my lap, reading a good book.

🌿 Just looking for good conversation, and something greater than surface-level connection. It be cool if it developed into something romantic, but I’m not looking to rush into anything.

Please don't be put off if we don't have much in common. It's always nice meeting people with different interests and experiences! Having said that, I’m likely to lose interest if your whole personality is related to gaming / TV (although I don’t mind a bit!!)
