QYLD, XYLD and the Dividend Channel DRIP Calculator
Post Body

I had a look at QYLD and XYLD using the DRIP calculator provided by the Dividend Channel here.

This gives low return for those ETFs. For QYLD it gives an annual return of 4.07% over the whole life of QYLD. That includes dividends and capital appreciation (or capital loss in this case). If dividends are reinvested that gives a return of 4.94%.

For XYLD it gives an annual return of 4.11% over the whole life of the fund from 2013 to today. In that case it gives 4.41% with dividends reinvested.

Is this correct?

I am suspicious and I wonder if the data it uses is accurate.
