Hello there. I'm new to this sub, so excuse me if my post does not comply to the sub rules.
i recently logged in on some website where I have an old account, just to change passwords. On this site, users could have a quote on their page. The quote I used on my profile (which I completely forgot about, this is from about 4 years ago) is the one in the post title:
> Identity is a falsehood. A person is but an accumulation of events before death.
When I saw it, I remembered that this quote existed, but could not for the life of me remember where I heard/saw it. I used to love this quote (because edgy 16 year old stuff, but it still sounds cool). For clarity, I am 100% certain I did not come up with this.
Does anyone know the origin of this quote?
Thank you for your time!
Edit: I somehow remembered it, even if it is the most obscure source ever. I saw this post from r/existentialism on 9gag. Honestly didn’t think it’d be something as random as that.
