The way the website locks in consent is just not how consent works. It should be able to be revoked at any time without question.
I had chose an option I was uncomfortable with on accident and by the time I had realized I was no longer allowed to change my answer or revoke any form of consent. My partner had already begun reading things I never consented to and could’ve kept going if they really wanted to, after I had asked them to stop.
I can’t imagine a single reason why this would be considered an ok practice, especially in the communities this website claims to be supporting. Consent just shouldn’t be locked down, period.
