I’ve been smoking over 13 years. Well I’ve had the flu since Monday, haven’t had a cigarette since Wednesday (other than the puff up took earlier and puked immediately). I definitely had it in my head that I would quit someday just never thought about it more then that but now that I’ve been too sick and when I feel decent enough my kid is to clingy for me to get a second to even try. My entire family smokes, smoking is my ‘break’, what else can I consider a break? How do I keep pushing forward? Should I get a vape? When does it get easier?
Getting sick is actually a goated way to quit imo. You’re already feeling so crappy that you don’t even notice the withdrawals in their usual full glory. You’re doing an amazing job already. Don’t get a vape. It’ll make things worse. I’d say get some gum for any moments where you are deeply struggling to fight the cravings. Hope you feel better and stay away from those cigs! Great job.

Oh that’s awesome! So you’re on about 3 weeks now? That’s extremely impressive and you’re doing an amazing job. And the 0 nic vape is a really helpful tool. I think it’s awesome that you walked into a place that sells tobacco products and made the conscious decision to walk out with something that doesn’t have nicotine. That’s some real strength. Keep going. I’m proud of you!
