For the most part I was almost against quitting kratom. I didn’t see anything wrong with taking this plant for the rest of my life even.
But I couldn’t of been more wrong.
I battle with all sorts of addiction. I started using kratom keep those at bay. While I feel it really helped give me enough time off heroin to be completely over it, it hasn’t succeeded in keeping me completely clean off other pills or drugs.
I had a major life changing experience recently with my partner and some things have come to light. 1) I would often get disappointed with kratom, leaving me feeling empty
2) It would keep me in a cycle of addiction. Use kratom, want more, use more kratom or eventually move on to something harder.
3) wouldn’t want to engage in anything with kratom before hand, again just keeping me in cycle of addiction.
I can’t say that it has all been bad, but the time has come. Time to quit. I’ve been at 24-32 gpd for years now. Im quitting other things right now as well and I feel 100% cold turkey is a little too aggressive. So this is day two of wanting to only use 4 grams before bed as im already having a lot of difficulty sleeping.
Does anyone have any advice on ways to be successful on this? How long can I except the serious side of the withdrawals? Thanks!
