It's been a while since I was consistently posting updates up until my 1 month-ish milestone. I figured I'd make a quick post and say hey to all my fellow quitters in recovery. It's been 4 months (and some change) since my last shot of kratom. To this day, I can't believe it took me 4 years to quit! Kratom was so hard on my mind and body that I haven't thought about using it since. However, almost every day, or at least very often, I sit in moments of pure gratitude that I was able to muster up the courage to quit. It wasn't easy, but once I got past the bumps in the road, it was evidently clear to me how much better my life is without kratom. If you're new here, please quit, and if you're newly quit, please keep going despite how hard it is... I promise you it will get better. In fact, I guarantee it. π― You're all stronger than you know, and I'm so grateful that I had this community during my very early moments in recovery.
Peace and love. π€π€πΌπ€πΌ
