I was sober for about a month this summer. Then some mental stress and sickness caused me to relapse. Been on and off for a couple weeks, threw almost my entire last order in the trash. Well, today I felt very very desperate. I’m sure you know where this story is headed. You guessed it: Straight to the bin I go, with my rubber gloves on ready to dive. I didn’t drink it straight away thankfully but was thoroughly heating it on the stove for like 20 minutes. I still feel like this is a turning point. Never in my life I would have thought this fucking plant would make me do something so desperate and disgusting like this. Wish me luck that I killed off all the mold and E. coli…
Also my hair had gotten so much better after quitting and now it’s beginning to itch again. There is literally no upside to this plant. Not with long term use. Sending good energy to all of you who fell for the false promises of some yuppies. Seriously, the vendors in the Kratom bars are always talking about how it’s a lifestyle product and good for mood and hiking blabla. It’s a dirty opioid-serotonergic, period. Psychedelics won’t even hit me when I’m on it, that’s how you know it messes with your homeostasis badly. Could list a thousand other bad side effects like ED, mood swings, social anxiety rebound, overheating, dehydration, …
I’m done. Good luck to all of you ❤️
